Located directly adjacent to Memorial Park, is an addition to the historic Rutledge-Sumter House. The Meeting House features a large, open event space suitable for up to 75 people. Gymnasium with Kitchen - Multi-purpose Room Seating Capacity: Banquet Style Seating Capacity: 400 Gymnasium with Kitchen and Multi-purpose Room Please do not submit a rental application or payment before calling to confirm availability. There is also a side conference room that seats approximately 35 people. Available Friday evening and all day Saturday for rentals. Visitors Center personnel will make all arrangements to secure the required personnel for the safety/security force. The safety/security personnel must be off-duty uniformed Sumter Police Department Officers. The safety/security personnel will be required to be present 30 minutes before the building is open to the party representative and until at least 30 minutes after the program is completed. The City of Sumter requires Lessees to provide safety/security personnel during the lease period for rentals.
